The other day when I was looking for some books on Amazon for a light read, I happened upon Sheryl Sandberg's book Lean in. Among a myriad of comments, one in particular caught my eye.

"I really encourage every single woman in the workforce to read it. It is a revelation to me after eight years of top management jobs. You will feel reborn."

There may be one book that resonates strongly with you because the author seems to be describing your own experiences and feelings.

It might be a best-seller by one of your favorite novelists.

Or it could be an immaculately bound classic that triggers your empathy.

It might have lifted your spirits when you were down, or it may have provided you with inspiration that stays with you even today. Others might consider it mediocre, but to you, it could be an invaluable treasure.
